This page explains what this website does with information about you. It is deliberately specific to this site rather than a general template.
You can read every page of this website without giving us anything. When you buy a match ticket, a hospitality place or a shirt, or claim a free ticket, we take your name and email address so we can send you what you bought and let you in on the day. Payment is taken by Stripe on their secure form; we never see your card number. Bookings are kept in the club’s own records for as long as we need them for the game or order they relate to, and for our accounts.
Like any website, our host records standard server logs — the address you connected from, the page you asked for, the time, and what browser you used. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
The club’s app on iPhone and Android shows the same fixtures, results, tables, news and tickets as this website, and you can use all of it without an account.
Notifications. If you turn on match alerts, your phone’s push token is stored so we can send them. You choose which kinds you get and can turn them off in the app at any time; turning them all off stops them.
Joining the 12th Man. Voting for Man of the Match and posting in the match centre need an account. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address and password, and we check your mobile number with a code sent by text. We keep your name, email address and mobile number, your votes and anything you post. Posts from supporters are read by a club editor before they appear. Nothing you do in the app is shared with other apps or advertisers.
Tickets. Buying a ticket in the app uses this website’s own checkout, described above.
Club staff. People who work or volunteer for the club can sign in to a staff side of the app. One part of it is driver mode, used to deliver match tickets to local schools. While a member of staff is on a run, and only after they allow it, the app uses their phone’s precise location to give them turn-by-turn directions, which come from Google Maps under Google’s own privacy policy. When they mark a drop as done, we keep the time, the place it was marked and any photo they take of the delivery, so the club has a record of what was delivered where. This is only used on the staff side; supporters’ locations are never collected.
Deleting your account. In the app, go to your account and tap Delete account. That deletes your account, your votes and your posts straight away, and your sign-in details are removed from our systems within 7 days. You can also email info@eastwoodfc.com from the address you signed up with and we will do the same within a month. Deleting the app removes the push token on your next sign-in; deleting your account or emailing us removes it straight away.
Where it is held. Account data, votes, posts and the club staff records described above are held by Supabase; notifications are sent through Expo; directions come from Google Maps; football data comes from Football Web Pages. All of them act on our instructions.
We do not sell or share your information. We do not run advertising trackers on this site or in the app. We do not build a profile of you.
When you email or call us, we keep what you send for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of club business. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@eastwoodfc.com and we will respond within a month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Eastwood Community Football Club CIC, company number 09196902, Coronation Park, Chewton Street, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire NG16 3HB, is the data controller.
